Collection: Troubleshooting and Support
1. Quick Start (“Get Started”)

Charge the device fully before first use (2–3 hours depending on model).

Load paper: open the lid/slider, place the label roll with the outside of the label as per the manual (usually the outside facing the lid / first label out through the slot). Close tightly.

Install the NIIMBOT app (App Store / Google Play) and turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
2. LED indicators / status
-
Green solid: Power on / battery OK.
-
Blue: Bluetooth connected / printing active.
-
Red/blink: No paper / lid open / overheating / low battery (depending on the flashing pattern). See your model manual for exact patterns.
3. Common problems + step-by-step solutions
A. The printer is not found via Bluetooth
-
Turn both the printer and your phone's Bluetooth off and on.

Close and open the NIIMBOT app, tap Connect → search device again.
-
If pairing requires a PIN, try
0000or1234. -
For iOS: make sure the app has Bluetooth/Network permission in Settings.
-
Try another phone to determine if it is the printer or the phone.
B. The printer does not print / nothing happens when you press “Print”
-
Check the battery level and charge if necessary.
-
Check that the paper is loaded correctly and that the protective tape (if any) is removed.
-
Calibrate the paper gap (Press the power button once while powered on to run calibration).
-
If Bluetooth shows connected but the app says “unresponsive” — disconnect and re-pair.
C. Print quality is poor (faded, streaked, uneven)
-
Use only recommended NIIMBOT labels (otherwise risk of printhead damage).

Clean the printhead carefully according to the video below.

Make sure the label/material type in the app matches the actual roll.
- Make sure the paper is loaded correctly in the printer.
D. Paper jam / paper jam

Turn off the printer.

Open the lid and carefully remove the paper roll. Check that no label edges are caught in the slot or at the cutter.

If the cutter is blocked, clean and remove any remaining label pieces. Restart.
4. Firmware & Drivers
-
Firmware updates are normally done via the NIIMBOT app; follow the in-app instructions.

Windows support: some models (e.g. B21/B1/B3S) have Windows apps and drivers available for download. Please see NIIMBOT's download page for the correct driver for your model. Download drivers here
5. Error codes & what to do

No LED / no power → Check charging cable, port, and battery.

Flashing red + “No paper” → Check paper filling and that the cover is closed.

Bluetooth connected but no print → Re-pair, restart app and printer.
